内蒙古农业大学食品科学与工程学院始建于1988年。风雨春秋,沧桑砥砺,二十年来,学院认真贯彻党的教育方针,在科学发展观指导下,坚持遵循高等教育规律和坚持社会主义办学方向,逐渐形成了本学院的办学特色和鲜明的科学优势;此外,我院在人才培养、学科建设、教学质量、科技研发、师资队伍建设、国际交流合作等方面也取得了长足的进步。
学院现有2个二级博士学位授予点(农产品加工及贮藏和畜产品安全生产),1个一级硕士学位授予点,3个二级硕士学位授予点(食品科学、农产品加工及贮藏工程和粮食油脂及植物蛋白工程),3个本科专业(食品科学与工程、包装工程和食品质量与安全)。学院下设食品科学与工程系、食品质量与安全系和包装工程系等3个教育系和1个实验室管理中心。学院拥有“乳品生物技术与工程”教育部重点实验室、“乳品生物技术”教育部工程研究中心、“乳制品研究”自治区重点开放性实验室、“畜产品加工”内蒙古工程技术研究中心以及中日政府合作项目“益得”乳品实验厂。食品科学与工程专业是内蒙古自治区品牌专业,农产品加工及贮藏工程学科是内蒙古自治区重点建设学科,内蒙古畜产品加工研究会挂靠在本院。
学院现有教职工76名,其中教授14名、副教授19名,博士生导师2人,硕士生导师23人。入选自治区“新世纪321人才工程”一、二层人选3人。先后有28人,45次赴美国、加拿大、英国、日本、意大利和俄罗斯等国留学和进行学术交流。到目前为止,我院具有博士、硕士学历的教师占专业教师人数的92.5%(其中有20位博士学位获得者)。在校学生人数为:博士研究生15名,硕士研究生109名、本科生1531名。经过多年的努力,学院的学科建设呈现出了良好的发展趋势,总体装备在国内同类学院中处于先进水品。作为中日两国政府技术合作项目的乳制品研究培训中心,在日本国际协力事业团的大力支持下,先后投资近5000万元建成了全国一流的乳制品研究机构和示范、培训、开发场所,拥有现代化的鲜乳、冰淇淋、黄油、炼乳、搅拌型酸奶生产线和完备的乳品检验、研究以及微生物鉴定等先进设备。2005年投入使用的8000 m2食品实验大楼已成为学院科学研究和学生实习实践的重要基地。近年来,学院先后承担60多项省部级以上各类科研项目,其中包括16项国家自然基金项目、2项国家“863”项目、5项国家“十五”、“十一五”科技重点攻关项目和多项自治区重大科技攻关项目。我院教师在国内外学术刊物上发表论500多篇,出版专著和教材32部。主要研究成果获得省部级以上科研奖6项,自治区优秀教学成果二等奖2项,并获国家专利6项。民族乳制品中天然乳酸菌的分离与开发利用、功能性乳制品的研制、高新技术在肉乳保鲜上的应用和肉宰后生理等领域的研究处于国内外先进水平。部分研究成果已成功地应用到“伊利”、“蒙牛”、“草原兴发”、“三鹿”、“新希望”等著名企业的产品研发和生产当中,并取得了良好的经济效益和社会效益。长期以来,学院按照“国际化”发展的目标,先后与美国、加拿大、日本、意大利、挪威、蒙古等国家的高等院校和科研机构进行了多项科研合作和学术交流。多年来,学院不断深化教育教学改革,形成了比较完善的教学课程体系,专业涵盖面逐渐、适应性逐渐增强。
学院十分重视学生综合素质的培养,积极支持学生第二课堂活动和社会实践活动。学院现有“英语协会”、“计算机协会”、“食品科技协会”等六个学生社团,为学生综合素质的提高和个人特长的展示提供了广阔的舞台。在自治区乃至全国的“挑战杯”大学生课外科技学术作品大赛以及创业计划大赛中,我院学生连续五年以来参与人数均居全校之首,获奖项目为全校第一。我院学生累计获得全国二等奖1项、三等奖2项,优秀奖1项;累计获得全区一等奖3项、二等奖4项、三等奖10项。我院毕业生专业基础知识扎实,实践能力和创新精神强,受到了考取研究生院校和用人单位的一致好评。我院各专业的共同点在于,能够使学生掌握相关的基础理论,培养适应社会、适应用人单位需要的,德、智、体、美全面发展的高素质专门人才。
College of Food Science and Engineering
The College of Food Science and Engineering was founded in 1988.Since then, the college has been seriously persisting in the education policy of the country, persevering in obeying the rule of the advanced education and the direction of school running under the guidance of the standpoint of scientific development. The college running characteristic and discipline predominance have been gradually formed. In addition, we made a great progress in talent training, discipline construction, promotion of teaching quality, scientific research and technological development, faculty recrewment, international exchange and cooperation.
There are two second class doctor’s degree authorization discipline (Processing and Preservation Engineering of Agricultural Products, Safety production of Animal product),one first class Master degree authorization discipline, three second class Master degree authorization discipline(Food Science, Processing and Preservation of Agricultural Products, Foodstuff oil and Protein Engineering). There are three specialties for undergraduate (Food Science and Engineering, Packaging Engineering, Food Quality and Safety). The College has three subordinate departments and a LaboratoryCenter for undergraduate teaching. The departments are Food Science and Engineering, Food Quality and Safety and Packaging Engineering. The College also has two key opening laboratories and two opening centers and a pilot plant named respectively “key laboratory of dairy biotechnology and Engineering of Education Ministry” , “Key Laboratory of Dairy Product Research of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region ” , “Technology Research Center of Animal Product Processing Engineering of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region ” , “Dairy Product Research and Training Center of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region” and “YIDE Dairy manufacture of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region”. Food science and engineering is the representative program of Inner Mongolia. Processing and Preservation Engineering of Agricultural Products is the key discipline of Inner Mongolia.
Association of Animal Product and Processing Association of Inner Mongolia shares the administration resource with the college. There are 76 faculties in the college, among them there are 14 professors, 19 associate professors, 2 Ph D student tutors, 23 graduate student tutors. There are 3 persons who were selected as first and second layer candidates for the “New Century 321 Talent Engineering” of Inner Mongolia autonomous Region. There are 28 persons who had over sea studying experience in the USA, Canada, Great Britain, Japan, Italy, and Russia early or later for 45 times totally. The number of teachers who have the PhD and Master degree accounts for 92.5% of the total number of teachers. Now a days, there are 15 PhD students, 109 graduates and 1529 undergraduates in the college. By the endeavor for many years, the disciplines construction has a very good development trend. The overall facilities equipped are in an advanced level among the same level colleges in the nationwide range. The dairy product research and training center affiliated in the college has a top-ranking facilities cost about ¥50 million RMB. A new building with 8000 m2 put into using in 2005. In recent years, about 60 research projects were performed, among them, 16 projects were funded by National Nature Science Fund Council, 2 projects funded by national 863 program , 5 projects funded by national key tackle problem program and others were funded by Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. About 500 papers and 32 textbooks were published. The scientific researchers have won 6 prizes above the province level, Teachers have won 2 prizes of teaching achievements in the level of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, 6 patents were obtained by the researchers. Some of the research results have been successfully applied to several big companies such as YILI, MengNiu, CaoYuanxingfa, Sanlu and New Hope. The college has been keeping good relationships with the universities and research institutes with the university and research institutes in the USA, Japan, Canada, Italy, Norway and Mongolia, etc..
The college attaches importance to the comprehensive diathesis training of students, supports the secondary classes and social practice activities. The graduated students have gotten good reputation in the society.
