The Foreign Language College of Inner Mongolia Agricultural University has held its present name since Decem-ber 2004. First known as the Section of Foreign Language Teaching, it was renamed as the Department of Foreign Language as sanctioned by the Educa-tion Department of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in November 2001.The College now has five teaching sectio-ns:English Major, College English 1, College English 2, Non-English Major Postgraduate, Russian and Japanese, and a center for language experiment.
